I've been reading a lot of threads about this lately. The HTC will have this at launch, and you will see the moto have it within a month's time. They are still working on it for 2.0

yeah word is they are working on a update pretty quick to fix a few things like laggy "tile" switches and add pinch zoom in and out

best part of the Droid is when there is a OS update it is always done from the phone!

I have heard there are supposed to be 4 Droid devices released before Xmas, we already know the first two but as usual Big Red is being very mum on the other two. They dont want anything messing up the Moto Droid launch so you will likely hear nothing until a week to 2 weeks before new device.

yeah, I really hope this happens.... not that it really matters since I was getting the phone regardless but it would just icing on the cake
