I am actually waiting on a Storm 1 to come for my wife to hold her over until the Passion HOPEFULLY comes to Verizon. But, it is an upgrade over her 8330 she currently has.
As stated in every other thread, give it about 3 weeks to fully. well mostly anyhow, understand how to work this phone.
bottom line is like any smartphone, its what you make it
put bunch of ****ty apps that make it slow down and you will hate it
but as so many do not realize when they complain about the droid is this...
uninstall the bs apps and see how better it runs.
give an opinion on the way it is right when you get it, not after you f with it and make things all goofed.
the droid out of the gate is superb, the internet,maps,screen,quality etc is very very nice in my opinion and right now i have over 30 apps installed, many useful and many useless, bunch of games, myspace,facebook,instant messenging and running home++ for a great looking interface with smooth performance
I have it loaded with about 2gb of music, 4gb of movies and videos, run youtube all the time and this thing just keep on going.......LOL (bonus is porn looks super on it as well) LOL
check out droidforums dot net for lots of usefull info as well, i am on there all times of the day
I love all the commercials that have been out as well, its so cool when someone sees the commercial and says how cool the phone looks and BAM I pop mine out and wow the **** out of them with it, even had couple iphone guys in bar get very upset and talk about switching over to verizon for the droid and the coverage.

Im sure I will have a few questions when it gets here. I know where to look.
Since it says you are currently running a Storm expect to have more then a few questions.
I think I had the deer in the headlighs look on my face the first day I had the device. I had to break through thinking of it like my Storm. It's definitely no Storm.
Im counting on it not being a storm. I played with it at the store 5 or 6 times before making a decision. I have to say I was impressed, and I dont have a clue what all it will do yet.
