I'm surprised--I thought it would be one of those "lightweight, flimsy" feeling phones, but it's listed at 158g. The Storm is 161g.

Moto makes solid Android devices. Mostly metal and built like a tank. HTC and Samsung make the lighter devices.

I've read some hands on reviews saying the bionic feels more plasticy/cheap feeling than the original droid and the x. Hope this isn't true since I really like the heft and metal feel of both. I can't wait to get my hands on one so I can see for myself.

I think if a phone is too light, it would be too easy to slip out of my hands.

Trust me it won't be flimsy even though the Moto Q's were made of plastic they still were sturdy devices
