Default A little Vivid help please

ok....longtime BB user here. I'm taking my second stab at android and need to know:
Is buying a Vivid off Cr*igsl*st for $300 taking a gamble?
It seem HTC has most of the native features I need.....VVM, Outlook sync, led notifications, itunes sync.
Please, If anyone thinks I'm taking a big risk lemme know.
Thanks in advance.....

Risk in which way? Meet the person at an ATT store and you should be fine. What are you concerned about?

ha ha....I'm not worried about the individual if that's what you're referring to.
I've heard some negative reviews on the Vivid. I just don't wanna get stuck with a $300 POS.....

I see. It looks like a good phone. It has LTE and a dual core processor with a nice size screen. I would purchase it.

I use Mail Droid on my Amaze and I love it. Emails come in as fast as bb and it shows how many unread emails I have in each account. It's free in the market.

The stock HTC Mail app is quite good from my experience with Sense. It has a counter of how many unread emails there are on the icon but I don't remember if it has a counter in the application, but I think it does.

You might also want to setup your accounts as Exchange for push email.
