Motoblur is a skin for the android OS and there is no phone for Verizon released with it yet. The Motorola Calgary is supposed to be released for Verizon with Motoblur though. The Calgary may be the phone you're describing because it's also supposed to have an optical trackpad.

It's the Blur now.... Never played with an Android device before.
Compared my friends Blur with his Droid. Blur was better!
Being a BB freak I liked the trackpad. It's the same size as my 9700...
The keyboard looks nice and big, until you compare it to the screensize Look at how much real estate that glossy black border with the touch keys is taking. And then there is only three *seen* touch keys on the bottom that aren't centered...whats up with that.
If I had to guess, it's "open" next to the touchpad because it would make inadvertent presses on any adjacent soft keys too easy/frustrating.
Thats kinda what I was thinking.
Does anyone know if the motoblur skin is as customizable as on the Droid now? I'm thinking if it isn't, the button that is missing is the search button, so maybe you have to actually use the google search widget on the screen instead of just the key?
Looks too small for me. I havn't heard anything from corporate here at VZW yet on these new devices but I'm sure we'll hear something soon. I'm kinda looking forward to the Pre and the Pixi, just to see if Palm is trying to step it up a little.
Looks like a superior keyboard, less screen real-estate, and guaranteed Android reliability and functionality.. While I wouldn't trade in my droid for it, I'm its a great value option for millions.. especially if its on verizon!
and i agree with those that its not so pretty.. :P

I think that was a design decision.. Under what would have been the fourth left touch-key is a trackpad.. If there was a touchkey there, you'd always be smacking it by mistake when using the trackpad.
I don't know about that trackpad action.. have to try first.
