Yea it is built of a nandroid backup of the Google preview I believe. I'm not sure if it is on other devices ATM.

Haven't seen anything either, but Sammy can be a pain with regards to updates for the non-Nexus devices.

The new notifications are slick, and the transitions are smooth and fast. I can't believe how much of an improvement this is over ICS.
