Default I need a browser that works

Ok, so I have a Samsung GS3 but the browser SSSSUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKSS! How the do you install a browser that has no discernible way to save pictures? How can this browser magically NOT figure out that the tracking number in an email is hotlinked and try to open the tracking number as a URL? Nevermind that this is the same browser in which I'll type a URL into the address bar only to have a google search for the URL be displayed.
This phone has been great so far, and while I have managed to figure out a lot in the transition from BB to Android there is still the occasional dead end I hit and just cannot comprehend what the they were thinking. I am new to Android (obviously) and I have heard of a FF browser and one called Dolphin (???) but I really know next to nothing about either of them on Android. Can anyone recommend anything better?

If you have 4.0 the Chrome beta is probably your best bet.

Chrome, I'm not that fond of it on PC but I'll certainly give it a try. Thanks TW93.
DB, I post here because I have an account here and have found the Curve & Bold sections here very helpful, joining another forum is not something I'm looking to do. This forum has an Android section so I'll use it. Thanks though, I had heard Dolphin mentioned I'm just not really an install everything I can find kind of guy. I will certainly keep it in mind.

AWESOME! Chrome is rockin! It's way faster and I can now save pics. I can't believe that I never thought to try Google's browser on Googles OS, I can't believe THEY never thought of it. *LOL* I still can't click on hyperlinks or C&P but that's probably a mail client problem rather than the browser. This is a HUGE improvement, thank you!

Why in the world are you using the browser for your mail? If your using Gmail then I suggest using the Gmail app on your phone for that. It has an insanely awesome ui and does everything. If your using any other client I suggest downloading k9 mail client from the android market.

To copy and paste simply hold down over the word you want copied until the highlight cursors appear, then hit the paper over paper icon. Saving images and links are also very simple, just long press over the image or link you want and then just "save image as", just like a pc. Hope this helps.

IMO Chrome beta is the best browser available for Android 4.0 devices. I use Chrome on my Mac and PC as well so I'm a little bias with it.

Firefox is also available in the market and it is better than the stock browser IMO.

Nah man, I'm not using the browser for my email *LOL* I just can't comprehend how I can click on a hotlinked tracking number in my email and have the browser do a google search for the tracking number.
I have installed Chrome and using it today it TOTALLY blows away the stock browser. I went over to the TMO store today and talked to a guy I had been discussing the phone and computer with previously before they came out. He has the GS2 and was more familiar with Android than I was (NOT hard to do) and showed me the icon to copy. I think I had tried it before but hadn't been able to make it work previously for some reason (PIBKAC issue apparently *LOL*) He had heard good things about Dolphin but never used it, but for now I think I'm stickin with Chrome. The browser synch thing may get me to use Chrome on my laptops as well, not sure about it but I will be giving it serious consideration.
Thanks for all the help guys, I am slowly learning how to use my Android and liking it more and more each day!

I always used Firefox when I had the Epic.
& on my HTC devices I used the stock browser.

But, you found a solution with Chrome so I hope it works out for you.

You might also try ics+ browser. It's pretty awesome. I use that and chrome. Both sync and bookmark equally well as well as copy and paste
