Thought I would share a couple videos to help people understand the Sense UI used in the HTC phones.

This is why I am going to be waiting for the HTC Passion vs going with the Droid.

I don't think so. It is the phone running it, then the operating system is separate from the Sense UI.

7 homepages...Completely customizable. The Droid only lets you have 3.

I believe it will be possible to port a version of Sence UI to the droid, just as soon as someone finds out how to root the device, and port the rom to it. There is sence ui roms for the g1 as well as mytouch, so i don't see why they wouldn't be able to create one for the droid in the near future.

The UI Sense looks amazing. I'm torn. I don't think I can wait till Jan to see whats next.

Yea true. I saw a vid of the Mytouch 3g running the Hero rom flawlessly.

Isn't the passion suppose to have like a 4.3 inch screen or something like that? I don't know about you, but that is just too big for my liking.

I know there are ways to customize the look of Android, like mAPPn - aHome - Customizable Android Home Alternative & Themes I think this can add home screens too.

These videos were just like porn, they gave me a chubby ;-)

I am intrigued by Sense UI, and Android. I love my BB, but I'm gonna follow the Droid after its release and see what everybody thinks after getting a chance to put it through its paces.

However, since I like the HTC form factors better than Droid (and I've had it in hand and used it), I'm going to wait for the passion before deciding whether to leave my precious BB behind.

Just to clarify as of this time the HTC Sense UI has not been ported to another manufacturers hardware. Motorola's MotoBlur has been ported to the G1 and myTouch.

No overlay has caused a lagless performance yet. I'd totally want to get the Droid now, and wait for the ROM port later, if I decide to install future ROM's.
