Lollipop is great on my Nexus 5 and 9, still waiting for the OTA on my Nexus 7 (2013) though. Hope it runs better than on first gen. I believe I read somewhere that wiping or clearing cache through recovery solved pretty much the issues on first gen Nexus 7.

Moving pretty well, still. I just decided to toy with a custom kernel and see how much smoother this guy's ROM is. ..I'll give it a week, so.

Installed it on my G3, and it's freakin sweet! It's so smooth, and fast, that I don't mind giving up Xposed mods.

Not a huge fan of the Android OS but I'm digging Android L. I like the colour schemes (e.g YouTube - that red is hot). I still think Android has a ways to go before it will get my full support. I'm not throwing this comment in here to start a fight. I don't mind this version of the OS, and really hated the previous versions of it.
Yes, I know you can tweak it to your liking - the beauty of an open OS - but I'd prefer I wouldn't have to do that.
I have a second gen Nexus 7 and it's not bad. Not as fast as my buddy's Galaxy 6 Edge. His phone makes the OS looking gorgeous.

They laugh at me because I'm different; I laugh at them because they're all the same. 

I'm really liking it on my Nexus 6. Its extremely fast and I really like the loom and the lock screen notifications. I like the card stack as it reminds me of webos. Its just a slick update.

U don't have to tweak anything if u choose not to. That's just the beauty of Android u can if u choose to unlike other operating systems.

My Nexus 7 now in Lollipop is quite slow compare to the previous KitKat OS. BBM does not load at all.

Android Lollipop is doing great for nexus series for new motorola phone like moto x and moto g2 its working perfect and for sony xperia its doing a great job
But when it comes to older samsung devices like galaxy s5 and note 3 I wouldn't recommend you to upgrade because it is slowing the phone down.
    Good luck
