I followed all the instructions at How to root and install droid 2.1 - Android Forums, however when I got to the last bit about updating to 2.1, when I want to update using nandroid, it failed, and now my phone turns on to the white M and stays on the screen. I managed to replace the 2.1 files with my backups from nandroid, but its telling me to run them from a terminal..any help?
What version of nandroid are you using and what is the exact error? Terminal refers to adb, do you have that installed? If so type adb shell and then try nandroid-mobile.sh --restore
