Back to Android 2.1 ... the guys have just released a manual install for the 2.1 News and Weather App/Widget. It is very cool and works great!!

For anyone having trouble with this widget not updating automatically to your location here is what I did to fix it.

1. Hard reset your device.
2. Install Google Maps update.
3. Install widget.

That fixed it for me. Maybe it will for you. Bye!

Ditto, I also use BW and have this for the News aspect of it. I got Dxtop For the four Home Screens but can't wait for the update!

fir the custom news setting you can type in "droid" and youll get the latest news on it. kinda like that feature

Could but won't, waiting for official I read in the forum grape vine that somethings are still broken like, coorporate calendar ( I Needs) and some other bugs.

so far so good i just installed it last night. the only thing that isnt working that does kinda bug me is there is no keyboard backlight. Hopefully there will be a fix for that here in the next few days.

Corporate email and calendar are working like a champ.
