We cannot say what you "need". Think about what you would like to be able to do with your phone. Then start scanning the market place. There are plenty of free apps. I'm sure you'll be able to find one that will do what you want.

Accept simulate BlackBerry's bedside mode. I have yet to find one that works like my BlackBerry did.
