Default Favorite Droid weather app anyone?

Like it says, I'm interested in one like BerryWeather, et al. Set multiple cities, get hourly or daily projections and satellite if you want. Anyone? (and thanks in advance for your opinions forum members )

I'm using weatherbug and it seems cool. What does Elite offer over basic?

I used weather bug (free one) and tried BW nut I like the fact that WB gives you a better forecast over the 3 day from BW, but BW does have a nice (and not needed) animation of the current weather. One positive thing about BW is you can access the clock and calendar right from the widget along with the weather forecast directly on your home page. I will probably upgrade to the WB paid for an ad free one

I have tried many and although I freaking hate it for PC weather bug for droid is nice. The elite has no ads and animation on the maps. Either way you get location tracking if you like, multiple cities, widget and notifications.

I used Myweather for a bit but didn't like it. Wasn't enough info. I installed the free Weather Bug and I like it a lot.

WB does seem to drain my battery though, at least I think it does. Anyone else have this issue? I did turn off the GPS, and Enable My Location and the Temp Notification. That seems to be better. Does anyone know if any of those options would be the cause of the battery drain?

I'm sure that if you enable the WB program to locate you it'll drain the battery some. You can usually set them to update the temp every xx hours and that won't drain it much. On my BB I just use the GPS feature rarely to get a weather profile with I get off a plane, otherwise I just enter a different city by name.
