    No. They only had 200,000 in stock. For a phone launch 100,000 is very good. The Iphone is the only phone to sell over a million in a single weekend.

    I think the number had to be higher. Why? Because the Droid in less than a week accounted for 25% of all Android web traffic in the US.

    Thats a pretty large percentage....

    The 100,000 was probably just in VZW stores and not counting other retailers.

    The Storm initial sales were equally as impressive. However those sales were accompanied by mediocre to poor reviews, so the sales tapered off pretty rapidly.

    The Droid, on the other hand, has stellar reviews. That said, don't expect these sales figures to taper off any time soon.
