hey guys i was wondering if i were to get a droid x if i would be able to unlock it and use it on t-mobile?

i currently own an unlocked blackberry storm 2 that i use on t-mobile with no problems except no 3g , but yeah i was just wondering because if the storm 3 isn't released this year with the specs sal mentioned then im going to have to jump ship to android.

No, you can't do this. The droid x is cdma only. Go for the Samsung Vibrant instead.

Exactly. Just get the Samsung device and you won't have to pay a lot for it (if you can upgrade) and you have your 3G speed. I took the X back for the Captivate and I like it much more.

Why don't you just switch to version since you like their phones so much?

And it still runs better than most devices. Having no custom ROMs yet does not hurt my decision on keeping this device yet (and I thought it would).
