actually rooting this phone is easy and there is a 1 click method. also the spf for the X is out so there is no way to brick the phone without recovering it

i havnt tried it myself i like using adb but phil over on androidcentral stated that he used the 1 click method and it worked flawlessly

I am going to install it once ROMs start coming out. By that time he should have it working on ROM manager anyways.
