    I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what type of plan you will need for the droid on VZW, ie if I were to go get a blackberry i would have to pay extra for the blackberry servers. Does anyone think this will be the case with the droid?

    I was wondering this same thing? It all depends on whether or not they decide to list it as a smartphone or not.

    My guess is that they prolly will, so you'll have to have at least a $79.99 plan.

    They are deffinately going to make you have the $30 data plan at the least.

    They are just gonna do the $30 dollar data plan like they do for blackberries or other smart phones
