    yeah they do if they're really extended. The ones that fit in the same cover are pretty limp.

    How about buying a second battery? The Droid boots up in 30 seconds, so no big deal swapping the battery out.

    Well most of the time I dont really want to carry around a second battery. And they can fit a 1600mah battery into the phone without a new back case sometimes. That would be a good jump in overall battery life since the one currently in the phone is 1300.

    Actually, the OEM battery is 1400mah. You wouldn't be gaining much with a 1600mah battery.
