I got my aol and hotmail set up to view as combined inbox, but I cannot view the gmail accounts as combined inbox. Everytime I want to check my gmail, i have to select the account and it only views the email on that account.

Is there an option that I am overlooking?

Nope. Gmail stays by itself. All other accounts can be combined.
