Default Changing the LED color?

Have any of the Thunderbolters been able to change the LED color and customize based on type of alert, BeBuzz style?

What app?

I have had no luck on this as well Chrisy. I have searched and there is one called
Lite Flow - LED Control by Rage Consulting Limited. I haven't tried it. Phone has to be rooted. I even went as far as emailing the devs for Berry Buzz asking them to develop for Android but never got a response. Since more apps are now crossing over to other platforms you would think they would want to jump at the chance at having more customers! This is one app that I greatly miss. I had it on my BB. Try emailing them. Maybe if more people contact them, they will have second thoughts. Supply by demand attitude !

Ok, I'll email them too! The LED on the Bolt isn't as good but I'm glad it has one!

I miss BeBuzz, and the size and brightness of the BB LED as well. An app you might try is No LED. It doesn't use the LED, but it shows the different type of alerts that are coming through and you can customize the colors.

Try downloading it. Originally it was just for Samsung Galaxy because those phones didn't come with an LED. But I used this app on my MyTouch 4G which was an HTC phone, as well.

Thunderbolt LED is single color, so it's impossible.

I looked at Lite Flow and it asks for too many permissions. Top scary for me!

I've only seen Orange and green on my LED so that makes sense, Papped.

Yeah, sorry, not literally single color. But basically it can only display those two colors.

I knew what you meant. It makes sense. LED is too small anyway!

The led design is just stupid... They put it behind the grille which hides 90% of the led and makes it impossible to see at angles.

I have no idea why they did that (they did it for stupid aesthetics over functionality)...

Had they simply put it on the housing instead of behind the grille and used a multicolor led (which costs virtually nothing) they would have fixed one of the qualms of the phone quite easily...

I didn't try on the Thunderbolt. I did try on the Incredible and it is the same.
I wish there were choices. I like to have different colors, but oh well. We still have a device that ROCKS !
