After 5 years of being a Blackberry Curve and Blackberry 9700 user, I purchased my first Android (Samsung Vibrant).
The Blackberry was good for its time, it made e-mail and texting very easy and still has a place in smart phones.
However, the Android platform is so easy to generate text for texting, email, instant message, word documents, etc. I use the text-to-speech using the microphone and speak into it and it dictates everything for me. So easy!
Also, it integrates and syncs Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, Google Search, etc. so seamlessly. Plus Gmail is pushed instantly and my primary email is Gmail so that's very convenient.
The best thing is when I'm traveling overseas, I can use the Wifi to check e-mail and all apps that require wifi works without a T-Mobile sim. Whereas Blackberry apps only work the T-Mobile sim in it.
So I bid farewell to Crackberry and will now subscribe to Android forum.
