There should be a fixed version of the sense rom this weekend, shayd.

The RIL is completely redone, so phone calls will work, talked to one of the developers, and he said the ONLY bug would be bluetooth.

Thanks, that's good to hear, I don't use my bluetooth that often anyway. Would you be able to tell me if the weather has the HTC effects when first unlocking the screen? That was a great feature on the Eris that I kinda missed when I got the Droid.

The full screen weather effects don't work. From the developers responses over at all-droid, it doesn't seem like they'll ever work since it looks like it's somehow tied to the processor. I have to say though that even with the 3G calling bug, being unable to turn off wifi and a couple other quirks, I'm really enjoying the rom. I generally have access to wifi so it really isn't a big deal for me and it seems like I get better battery life using just wifi. Maybe my phone switches a lot between 3G and 1x when I'm not looking on other roms.
