Suretype for android. I know that you either loved it or hated it, but if you liked the one thumb typing as I did, here is my recommendation. I tried better keyboard first since it seemed to be the most popular. They have nice pictures of the T9 keyboard and it looks great. The word prediction, however is simply awful. It doesn't learn words and as far as I could tell, it has no dictionary much less one that can be edited by the user. So I gave smart keyboard a shot. It is as close to suretype as you can get. Great word prediction and it learns. It has a dictionary that can be edited. As far as I can tell, it may use the native swiftkey database. I do know that it works really well. So for what it's worth, if you are a former strom user, SMART KEYBOARD is the way to go.

If you're an old Palm head that still longs for Graffiti, it is on the Market.

Found this on XDA. It is from HTC and it worked pretty well on my Evo.

Hey gang! Got a new Droid 1 to play with, rooted it, and set it to accept non market place apps, now I just need to know a good place to go to get those apps. Please contact me via PM, lets not post anything we are not supposed too.

I would not do this. This basically kills the life of the battery.

Actually, it worked great for me. I get at least a full day of battery out of mine.

Applying script found on xda would simply makes your phone runs faster..well in my case it does.

Just google up v6 supercharger. My phone is rooted but running on stock rom.

I've tried several custom roms before but there are always bugs. I guess stock roms are way much cooler after applying this script.
