Default Andriod & BlackBerry

o the ones that have a BlackBerry & a android whitch one do you like the best ? I now have a BlackBerry 9930 but am thinking about getting the Motorola Droid 4 ? The only smart phone that I have ever had is a BlackBerry starting with the 8130 & 8330 , 8530 , 9630 , 9650 , 9930. The andriods seem to have more going on now Than the BlackBerrys. The BlackBerry 10 is a long wait.

I have a torch 9800, and a motorola atrix2. It takes some time to adjust to android after being a Blackberry user for years.

I didnt like the native keyboard on my droid, i lucked out and the market had swift key on big discount. Its has been a great 2nd party keyboard app.

Thats the one thing i like alot on android, if you dont like something theres apps that can and do work better.

Both devices are awesome. I had the 8900 and I loved that thing. It was so efficient!! But lacked severely with web browsing, watching videos, apps.

What are you looking to accomplish? Form follows function  if you want a full experience, Android is your best bet. If you need tightly integrated communication components, Blackberry. I know this is a nutshell explanation, but there is plenty of documentation detailing strengths, and weaknesses of each platform.

Im using a galaxy nexus and bold touch and together theyre awesome. I love sending emails and texts on my bold but reading books, browsing the web and watching videos is an amazing experience on the nexus.

If you can afford getting another phone and if you dont mind carrying two (or switching back and forth), you should definitely give it a try.

I have a 9930 and a Skyrocket. I use them both almost interchangeably.

I prefer my BB for messaging since I love the keyboard. I am miserably lacking in my touchscreen typing skills, so I use my 9930 for forums, FB, Twitter, email and BBM (of course.)
I use my Skyrocket for web, YouTube, media.

You've obviously been with Blackberry for a long time. Why do you want to change platforms? If you are bored, you are like me. I left blackberry for Android almost two years ago now because blackberry was simply too boring for me. I require a device which I can constantly tinker with and change to meet my ever evolving needs. Android is the closest OS out of the bunch to having a PC in your hands. Since the OS is open, I can constantly change the look, feel, and productivity of my device by applying third party Roms and software. I enjoy the feeling of being in complete control of my device. I had maybe 1 week of adjustment coming from blackberry but I learned quickly because I jumped in with both feet. For me, I don't miss a thing about blackberry and won't ever go back.
