Anbody with a Droid going to switch to the VZW iPhone

With the announcement of a Feb 3rd pre-order and Feb 10th release of the VZW iPhone. How many Android users are going to jump ship?

I still have my trusty, but aging rapidly, BB Curve 8830. iPhone does seem sweet but Android's OS and hardware is evolving at such a quicker rate and the next gen Droids look too good to pass up.

iPhone is for the dummy-proof experience. Droid is for the advanced user IMO.

I am going to switch to the Verizon iPhone. Then I'm going to sit patiently until Steve Jobs tells me I'm allowed to have 4G.

My next upgrade will most likely be the Bionic.

Glad the iPhone is finally with a good carrier though. Ill recomend my friends to jump ship on att

This. I'm glad iPhone is a choice on VZW now. My parents may switch from their AT&T iPhone.

I have an iPhone 4 and never use it, my daily driver is my Nexus One which runs circles around my iPhone.

I don't have a Droid, and like others, I am happy that Verizon customers have more options. However, I'm going to wait for the Bionic. The iPhone 4 does make it a tiny bit more difficult to wait since I have a first gen Storm, but the iPhone 4 is about as outdated as my Storm compared to the Bionic.

bionic: 960x540 w/4.3 screen
iphone 960x640 w/3.5 screen

both are different screen types though also

I believe the resolution is exactly the same, the Bionics screen is just bigger. The iPhones screen will look a little nicer due to it being smaller, but you really wont be able to tell the difference unless the device is 3 inches from your face.

I thought about it, but I am happy with my X. It has a bigger screen, flash support, USB mass storage mode, much more customizeable. Basically I think an iPhone4 is a downgrade from the X

ha ha, have you seen the droid forums? They have cleared the way for a iPhone forum in the droid forums, and a few moderators and rescue squad members are getting a little anal with people saying Droid is better, ha ha. They say "they are equal" and don't say any OS is better than the other. It is hilarious. I think they have lost touch with what they originally were. Go check in. it is great stuff!
