 3G tablet questions
I'm looking to buy a Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G in the US for my brother who's in Canada on the Telus network. Had a few questions:
1. Are 3G tablets locked just like phones are? If so, is third party unlocking service available, and how reliable is it?
2. Like phones, are there multiple 3G versions of this tablet? GSM Arena lists the tablet's 3G bands as 850/900/1900/2100, whereas AT&T lists their tablet as 850/1900/2100. Which band(s) would I need to make it work on the Telus 3G network?
