Went to Verizon to make sure everything is good when I return my Storm 2 tomorrow and get the Droid. The head Tech was helping me and he let me "play" with his Droid. He said he had it for 3 days and the phone is the best thing he has seen at Verizon. I will never use the external keyboard, typing was easy on landscape mode. Can't say enough about the speed of the phone. I love the Storm 2 but there really is no comparison between the two
I played with one for a few minutes earlier in the week. It's a well built device. I was impressed. I'm not due for an upgrade until July '10. I sent an email asking for an early upgrade. We'll see.

I doubt Verizon executives could care less what happens in Alabama! The tech did say they had 80 in stock, and it is the smaller of the 2 stores. He said the larger store should have well over 100
