I'm considering switching over to one of the newer Android BBs, but I use Blend quite a bit. It makes it easy to just leave my phone in the holster while I'm at work. I'm just curious if anyone has found something similar in the Android world. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I did a little digging and found something called AirDroid. It is supposed to let you manage a lot of the same kind of stuff as Blend, and can also be used on the web. That seems promising. Has anyone used AirDroid before that can elaborate?

I have Air Droid. It sucks compared to Blend. I wish BlackBerry would port it over or sell it to someone that will.

Blend was wasted potential. Great idea poorly executed. I could never get it to work properly or to just even stay connected. Since BB10 is virtually dead I'm surprised they didn't bring that to their collection of Android apps. If they could pull it off it might be the one piece of BlackBerry/Android software I might use on my Droid besides the keyboard.

The first thing I start on my office computer is Blend. Blend is a great, under promoted, under developed product.

What a waste of good product, especially for a "software" company

    Great idea!

It looks like my Passport will still be in use when I move over to the Mercury.

so i think the closest thing is Samsung SideSync. It basically puts your phone screen on your desktop screen or tablet screen (which you can minimize if you want to) and you can receive notifications from it and respond also.

Kind of a self-plug here, but I recently started working on a Blend-like app. I've named it Fuse for Android and its currently in beta. Currently it supports SMS over Wi-Fi connections. PM me if you'd like to join the beta - I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link here.
