Well, after Sonos totally dissing the BBerry community with their app, I'll stick with Room Tunes -- which I also happen to like better anyway.
How did they diss the BlackBerry community?

I don't think they care if you use their software or not. You're still buying their equipment.

Right, but I prefer to support BBerry community apps. (Actually Sonos gave me the Playbar for testing it -- so I should be more kind).

If you go on Sonos community, BBerry owners have essentially been begging them for an app for months.

Well unfortunately that's nothing unique. BlackBerry is perceived by most as a dying platform, and no sane company will commit development resource to it - regardless of how easy you believe this would be.

I've been providing regular feedback on the Beta - highlighting the android runtime version number and the OS version of my BB.

Let them know what's working and what isn't on BB.

The Beta Android app works fantastically well on my z30, and we need to make sure they hear about it.

I was in the loop for their Beta testing as well, but when I dropped Android altogether, never thought I'd see it again. It does work great, and it does take up less "space" than Room Tunes. But I like the Landscape feature of Room Tunes and the ease of "panning" through selections while in landscape.

Out of interest am I missing something? Just tried Roomtunes in landscape and while it works, the info seems harder to assimilate.

People always feel a sense of loyalty to something that they paid money for. I have both, I prefer the interface to the Beta.

I agree, I do prefer Room Tunes, but the Sonos beta is a vast improvement on the old version.

Just not sure why landscape is important...in the prior version of the Sonos app , or on a tablet there is more info displayed, but never seen this in Room Tunes

Landscape is useful because, on a phone, it allows some more info to be displayed and also works in a dock. In landscape you can see other selections. I used Sonos Android app for a long time on my last Android phone I found it to be OK. Just like Room Tunes better.

If only it would connect to my Sonos components that would be great, but it says it cannot. IPad works fine. sad face.

Well, I just downloaded what looks like a new version straight from Amazon, no snap. Works fine. Running .2228.
