I've come to realise XBMC is useless on my phone right now, I have my movies/tv shows on my NAS but I don't have it port forwarded so I can only access my movies when I'm home. why watch on a small screen why I have my MacBook and iMac. When I'm out of the house I would love to use things like project free TV but that addon isn't updated for Gotham yet. Oh well.

First time ever using xbmc and the Gotham version isn't that bad. I don't have any others to compare it to it being the first one I have used.

It crashes here and there but not during playback. The download function is useful. I find that mashup and ice films are the essential add ons. I tried a bunch but nothing as resourceful and user friendly as those 2.

Just tried to use 1Channel plug-in. It installs but doesn't seem to load up, bummer! Great XBMC app but I'm just curious, is there a reason for using Gotham? Frodo is the most stable version of XBMC at the moment.

That's cool, I just installed Icefilms and seems to be working. If this XBMC app was native to BB10 it would be faster then my raspberry pi setup.

No plans for native anytime soon, the developers said so on the XBMC forum.

Has anyone gotten 1Channel working? I I installed the repository from the zip file and installed the 1channel add on but it's not in the video add one section when I try and access it. Any idea what to do?

Doesn't work for me. I made the mistake of installing it and deleting it. Once you do that it won't install again unless u wipe your phone.

Same here. Deleted it once and now it doesn't work. The first time I put it on it worked.

I meant to post this a while ago but forgot, I'm pretty sure restoring fixes the problem

I believe I read early in this thread, that if you installed the early builds, you could not delete without a complete phone wipe. I believe (and perhaps mistaken) that the latest build available can be deleted. I've installed this on my z30, installed mashup and have success viewing on my phone. However, I tried connecting my z30 with a hdmi to my TV. Picture is great, but sound is only coming from my phone....im still amazed that I can do all of this with a BlackBerry!!

I have the first version installed and somewhat working. The download link is updated to a new version? Can I install the new version over the old? I know I can't delete and install without wiping, but is it possible to upgrade?

Okay. I figured it out. Everything is working now.

Except it's 5 hours ahead of my time. I'll sort that out later. That IS a pic from my Z30 BTW.
