Safe way to convert my bank apk?

Is there a way I can take the apk of my banking app on my android phone and convert it without worrying about a middle party tampering it?

Install 'Astro Filemanager' , Move the app to your SD card -> Extract the app, convert it via: PlayBook .apk to .bar converter

Is that automated on that website or do they have a chance to tamper with the file before I get the converted bar?
