Default How to retrieve APKs on your computer

ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR ACCOUNT AIN'T MAH FAULT KAY?

This is just a little guide to obtain APK packages WITHOUT an android device. If you have an android device, install the app called "Device ID", copy the ID you have there, then skip to part II

HAVE JAVA JRE INSTALLED, AT LEAST. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT

Be sure to be registered to Google play before doing any of this. You can do this in Bluestacks but frankly, I forgot how to :/ Fiddle around, you'll get it

    Part I
So basically, there's an Android emulator (or player as they call it) for PC called Bluestacks. Most of you may of heard of it, or maybe you haven't.

Go ahead and download it here, it's available only for Windows and Macs (sorry Linux users, gotta pop open that dual boot once again!)

Install it, restart your computer (trust me, this helps), then start it up.

You'll get something like this once you go through the first time guide.

    Click on

Search "Device ID" and install the first one (Doesn't matter which market its downloaded from)

Now yes, you guessed it, open the app by going to My Apps

Now you'll see 2 things. Your email (if you don't have one listed there, go to the little wrench and screwdrive icon on the bottom right side of bluestacks> manage accounts> then sync your Google play account there), and your device ID, copy your device ID.

    Part II

Once you have your Device ID, download Real APK Leecher (must have Java installed, can be executed on Mac and Linux if you put your mind to it.... or just use the command line in the .exe to execute the .jar file)

    Extract and open it up

You'll get a window like this:

Enter the Device ID copied earlier in the correct form box along with the email and password associated with it, This is your Google Play account.

Tell it where you want your APKs saved as well along with the language you speak. I would leave this at English (US) as that's where most apps are requested from (meaning, most are available in this country that are requested). If you get requested a foreign app, this is where you change the country AND input the SIM operator number (to find this, google is your friend!)

    Click Save.

From here on out, it's pretty self explanatory. Right click and click "Download this app" and you're good to go!

If you get any errors, visit this thread as this is the official thread for support and what not.

No viruses or anything of the sort.

    Enjoy

Ya sorry, images are down for some reason, anyways so download and install a "Device ID" app on Bluestacks by using the search and clicking on it, it should automatically download and install (choose any market) then use it by going into "My Apps" on Bluestacks and get the Device ID onto your clipboard or write it down somewhere for Part III

Here's how I do it with bluestacks, a little different but the same principal more or less.

    1) Download the app APK Share.

    2) Use APK Share to backup the app you want, it'll save to the "SD Card"

    3) Download ES File explorer. Use it to locate the backed up application, and then share it to you cloud account (box, dropbox, etc). This sharing functionality is built into the app itself.

    4) Download the app apk from your cloud account to your computer.

IMO, this method is easier to extract APK and the rest of the steps are straight forward; to sideload to your BBZ10.
