All format Video player
Obviously the Z10 is a great phone for watching videos on, so its a bit of a bummer that some video formats cant be played due to its format or the soundtrack format. So i was wondering whether sideloading say vlc or mxplayer onto the Z10 would work, and how you would play movies through the app itself? Hopefully somebody develops an app for BB10 that has the ability to play loads of video formats, because i want to start watching loads of videos on the beautiful screen...

Maybe we should put the vlc API link in the thread which is converting them to .Bar files...would be better though if some developer just made a native app for bb10,it would be popular!

Playing mkc format with all subtitles. That would make anime watching very easy for me.

KalemSoft has a Playbook media player that plays just about everything.
They have posted in their PB thread that they are working on a BB10 version as well. - 02-19-2013, 04:14 PM

Kalemsoft's video player is awesome. I bought it on my touchpad, PlayBook, and will do so again on BlackBerry 10.

Does it play mkv with subtitles. Like aby generic torrented anime episode uses. And yes I torrent anime. If you've ever heard American dubs to use know why.

Re: All format Video player
works great. you install the client on your pc and set up an account. tell it what directories to give access to and log into account with app on playbook/eventually bb10 device. you can do lots more but that is what I use it for. plays extra formats then native movie player
