So I'm on 2.1.0.1314, and was running WordsWithFriends v5.4. I saw a bar file somewhere for v5.7 - i deleted the app and installed the new one (using DDPB). The new version wouldn't load - I would get to the loading screen, then it would crash. I tried rebooting. I tried uninstalling (through DDPB) then rebooting. I tried reinstalling - no luck. I tried going back to my old version. Same result. Then tried even older versions. No luck. Is it just my versions? Anyone using 5.7? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

no idea mate... at the moment, I'm even searching for the bar file to test out...
