ready to sideload, but, is there anything really worth sideloading, don't say Kindle
.I would like to be able to sideload Skype ... but so far, I beleive, that is a non starter. Maybe, RIM will have something Skypish for us PB users in BB10.
What I am wondering is, if you happen to read this thread, have you come across any worthwhile apps in Android that are "must-haves". If you have found some, comeback with your top two or three.
Thanks for reading and sharing,

Well, he did say sideloaded, and the CB app and Ghost Commander at least are both in app world so they don't need to be sideloaded. But, if you like to download YouTube videos, you can do it the harder way by using one of the web based services to do it, or you can do it the easy way by sideloadeing TubeMate. If you like to store media in the cloud and want to be able to stream your media to your PB from multiple cloud services, you can sideload X-Plore or ES File Explorer (plus you can do a whole lot more these) or, you can- no wait, I'm not aware of any apps in app world that will stream media from the cloud.

Oh come on, somebody has to say it.... KINDLE!

Now that is said, I like using Tweetcaster side loaded. I just wish there was a way to buy the Pro version without having an Android phone and then side load it to PlayBook.I've developed a new group chat app. I call it "Put your dam phone down and talk to people face to face!!!" - 11-20-2012, 12:17 AM #5

I've side loaded an app for YouTube downloads and also the Amazon store app because I shop a lot there. The ones I use the most are those and also Pandora is a huge one I use, an NPR app, IMDB, Amazon mp3 app, the weather channel, ES File explorer, Dropbox, Yahoo Messenger, and TV guide.
That's my main list.
Edit: forgot native apps I've sideloaded like Quake 3, and emulators for SNES and also PCSX-PB. These are great.I'm addicted to Crack.........Berry

My most frequently used apps are Pulse, BaconReader, Kingsoft Office, Repligo Reader, Pandora, Pinterest. Also have at lease 30 games.
I generally download apps directly from Google Play using an Apk Leecher program then convert/sign myself. - 12-08-2012, 04:48 AM #15
