And 2nd How come most of the side loaded apps only work with Honeycomb? What is the propped Launcher and what am I doing wrong?

Would it be possible to take a screen shot of what you are seeing?

You're adding one unnecessary layer to the whole process by using the Honeycomb launcher... OS2 can "natively" run Android apps, you don't need an extra launcher.

Just get rid of it and start your sideloaded apps directly from your PB.

I use launcher pro on my rooted ones.
Not sure if all android apps would load without using one.
Could be wrong but using it brings me to the player anyway.
So for myself I just hit launcher pro and get to the player with all my apps.

i have a major problem i have sideloaded apps to my playbook i am running 2.0 and these apps wont open i didnt even get an option to run through a launcher i know how to side load apps and everything but i feel like i am missing a step or a program to open these apps. i watched a video where the guy connected his playbook via USB cord opened desktop manager entered password and what not and then went in to DDPB installer and when he clicked up he went directly to the playbook drive and picked the bar files he had downloaded via playbook browser.. now for whatever strange frustrating reason i cant do that.. could this be the problem why the apps wont work?? ideas anyone?

I keep Go Launcher EX, because some of my sideloaded android apps won't launch via the QNXAppLauncher (the result is that it immediately directs me to the recent applications page). It's annoying to have an entirely different homepage without the navigation convenience of playbook OS, but a sacrifice I make to have a few apps work.

same here, i have the honeycomb launcher simply for that reason, certain android apps just won't work.

So some apps will work better via a launcher?
I'm trying to launch 2 games "Where's my water" and "Ceramic Destroyer" and they both fail via QNXAppLauncher (Which is the default one)

Default Replies on Honeycomb App Launcher

I tried the App for a few days.

It's very cool how it works,..but it doesn't work that well.
    - Not all Apps launch properly
    - QNX App works very bad (takes a lot of time; or doesn't work at all)
    - Some Apps work better with the Honeycomb launcher > google maps for instant
    - It's not fully functional. 1. You can't always get back to the home screen 2. It's always a few more clicks when using the honeycomb launcher

Result: better don't use it > Most apps work better without this app launcher...

There is no point using these launchers ever since OS 2.1 dropped. They did provide limited added functionality under OS 2.0, when this thread originally started.

Someone picked-up an old thread and responded as if it was current.
Many folks here don't really care for the Android environ, just it's apps.
With the current OS being able to run the android apps in separate windows, there is little need for the android launchers. The added steps to use isn't worth it.
