I got the Plex app converted courtesy of JohanB99. However, I don't know if it is working. Could anyone test this app out and see if it does work? I am kind of confused on how to install this.

I know to sideload the app. It's the configuration process that I am stuck on. There's a server side and a client side; a two-step process.

The problem here is that Plex is a paid app. Since you got from someone else, the assumption is that you did not pay for this yourself. I do not believe this is a place to be uploading paid apps.

But to answer you question, it works.

I've actually owned this app on two other platforms and plan to purchase it on the PlayBook when it comes out. But you're right, I shouldn't upload a paid app. Removed.

Only music works for me!
If I try to play a video I get a "server error when trying to fetch data"

I get the same error... haven't tried audio but video doesn't play. I can connect and browse my library but nothing plays.

Anyone here get it to work?

If you were lucky enough to have purchased purchased 2.1.1.3 android app it works perfectly on the playbook 2.1!!!!!!
