Re: Online APK to BAR converter
Guys, save yourself some hassle with converting and trying stuff that guaranteed won't work.
APK files are just zip files. Associate them with winzip, winrar, etc, and before you try to convert them, open them and look inside.
If there is a "lib" folder, don't waste your time, the libs are the native android code interfaces, and no app using native code is going to work. Period.
So you are just wasting your time trying to convert and running ANYTHING with a lib folder in it.
Cheers

Re: Online APK to BAR converter
Hey unker. First of all, great job on the online converting tool. Haven't done any conversions though, but judging from the feedback, it seems great. There is only one app that I've been trying to convert, but I keep getting the 'error while signing .bar file' error. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Re: Online APK to BAR converter
I believe a read somewhere that even though the filename is the same as the old version, the file you just converted is actually the new one. sideload it and see. sorry if I'm spreading bad info though

Dissapointed
Using BBH Tool.exe I tried side-loading 4 existing .bar files, and only one made it onto my Playbook , OS 2.1. (Radio On - and that would not run). I tried converting Teamviewer.apk (from official site) and on the 2nd attempt it side-loaded, but I couldn't get it to connect to it's test server. Disappointed, because converting .apk to .bar has defeated me so far

The site only serves up old versions if the app has previously been converted.
I'm trying to convert KeePassDroid-1.9.18.3.apk. It says, "oh, I've already converted that app last year. Here's that old version: com.android.keepass_v1.0.98.0.bar"
I love the simplicity of the site, but this is a major oversight. ...or am I missing something?
