Default Nook PDF App Sideloaded but Cannot Find my PDF Files

    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone can help me find where the media directory is located in Playbook OS 2.1. When I hook my computer up to the playbook the media folder shows up right away; however, when I browse the file system in the sideloaded Nook PDF reader app I cannot find the media folder anywhere and therefore cannot load my PDFs.

    Thanks!

In general, the Android environ is only relegated to the sdcard file space. If your files are viewable there, then you should be able to browse and open it from an android app. The documents and the downloads folders are symlinked with that in the PB environ.

Do not know if you are able to but browse up from sdcard, then to accounts/1000/shared/documents or where ever your files are and try to open it.

    Hey,

Thanks a lot for the reply. I couldn't find the sdcard folder, but I did look in accounts/1000/shared and all subfolders and didn't find any of my PDFs. Is there any way of placing the pdf files in a location that will be easy to find in the Android environ? I really dislike how one cannot bookmark a page in the native PDF reader.

    Thanks again.

Try Repligo Reader. I believe it bookmarks and works well.

You can get to the android dirs by .../shared/misc/android/...

I ditto using Repligo. Place your pdf files in books dir, and from Repligo browse to accounts/.../books.
You should be fine. I just checked myself.
You should be able to find the app at Koz's.
