Kingsoft Office awesome suite and works great on Playbook.

I just sideloaded latest version of Kingsoft Office 5.2.2 on my Playbook last night and it works very well. I've been using (rather trying to use) Smart Office 2 but frankly in this state it is just really bad. I wish i could write something else because it looks great and menu is awesome but it just does not do what it is supposed to do. Kingsoft Office blows SM2 out of the water and it is free. Smart Office 2 costs $10 and it does not connect to dropbox through BB bluetooth internet. only wifi. even if it is connected to wifi it does not read many files that it should open without a problem. the developer should fix these issues. anyways Kingsoft does connect to droppbox when playbook is using internet over bb phone and it does open all files. Great suite. Highly recommended.

Had a quick play with it and it seems to function very well! Appears to play good with the mini keyboard. Send doc to email opens with attachment ready to go

good reader has older version. newest is 5.2.2

you can get newest apk from here

by the way good site to get all apk updates

then use

PlayBook .apk to .bar converter to convert it to bar

and sideload it

I was baging dev over facebook. they might be looking into bb10 and porting go playbook android version

I've tried many of the sideload ones and I have Smart Office 2 (purchased) and I found the best to be MS Office pro. It reads everything and has great editing features. It would be great if the developer would just port it over to App World.. way better than all the rest IMO.. Hands down.

i have not tried it but it does not have good ratings at google play. $17 is pretty penny given that Kingsoft is free.
