    Lightbulb Huge .BAR Collection Website

I came across a pretty neat website that just launched. It's like a second AppWorld hosting a huge number of converted .BAR files, offering direct and fast downloads. You can even request apps there.

I guess that's quite usefull for PlayBook and BB10 owners, check it out.

I'm a little concerned (after the Dolphin debacle) that RIM is promoting this website itself through Twitter. Looks like a great resource, but potentially a legal nightmare.

hmmm, is it just me or these apps just won't work? i've tried several & i think maybe the apps featured there are mostly .apks that only work for Android ICS/ 4.0....

I tried a few and they worked. You can report non functional apps by the way.

Well I guess everyone see an opportunity to make a quick buck from other's work.

On the other hand, the site is attractive, but lacks critical info like the app's version.

I also think HUGE Collection is a bit of a stretch.

not scoop... @BlackberryDev I may be wrong (I have been many times) but that's where I initially found the site.

Most of the ones I tried worked (at the the ones which had links which actually worked) One keeps saying forced close but apart from that seems o.k...

Thanks again Koz for the Good eReader store and app.

For those of you who don't know. Koz has made it much easier to find, download, and sideload Android apps through the Good eReader site and app. Go to this site first: Blackberry Playbook and BB10 Android Apps | Good e-Reader Android APPS - BB10 & Playbook App Market

If you want to do it all without getting near a computer, the best way I've found is to install the Good eReader app on my PlayBook. I then download the .bar files directly and use LocalBar2 on my phone as a proxy to sideload my PB. Now that I've been doing it for awhile, it only takes a couple of minutes to install a few new apps at once.

Title isn't exact. It will be "Huge don't working .BAR Collection Website". Just a lose of time.

While converting a lot of apps, they don't seem to testing. Written in red however at the bottom of the app description now is statement for the most part stating they dont work properly on the Blackberry. So they are reacting I'm sure to feedback, but you'd have to wonder at their modus operandi !
