I just converted the Google Maps 6.4 .apk to .bar

I tested it and seems like it still works like it should. I'm not sure what was in the change log.

You need to open the .rar to get to the .bar.

Installed and is working fine.

One thing this and the earlier one I had when I swipe down from the top and select settings I get a message telling me that the it stopped unexpectedly.

Settings, GPS, and directions all working.

Any version later than 6.0 seems to crash when entering settings. You need to get into settings if you want to cache maps for offline use.

6.3 works perfectly on my pb... Before the most recent update it crashed in settings, but now it doesn't. Haven't bothered to try any other versions, but I hear 6.2 is also stable.

Well, I just tried 6.3 and 6.4 and both crashed when entering settings- and I'm not the only one who has experienced this problem. Are you sure you have 6.3 installed and not 6.0.3? Also, have you cached maps for offline use (the main reason you need to get into settings)?

I have a tether plan so never need to but I can test for u. Navigation and other labs stuff works. I use the larger font lab thing
