I just sideloaded latest flipboard version 1.9.19. I have weird problem with launching the app. Flipboard will not run (black screen) when i launch it with icon from desktop. however if i use ghost commander and launch flipboard from there flipboard runs just fine. Weird thing is that the first time i sideloaded flipboard it would launch just fine with desktop icon but it would not work second time. is there any solution to this except for going back to older version ?

Unfortunately the previous version wouldn't load up at all on my pb when I tried it a while back.

Flipboard 1.9.10 will work on your Playbook. Revisions of Flipboard after 1.9.10 do not launch properly.

yes weird thing is that actually once newest version is up and running it actually works faster than older 1.9.10 of flipboard which flips pages vertically.

Had the same issue as someone just introduced me to Flipboard. Tried the older version, and didn't like the interface as much. Appreciate the tip that the newer version launches through Ghost Commander. It's an inconvenience, as sometimes I have to launch it 2-3 times before working, but felt that the nicer interface was worth it.
Hope that a lot of these mainstream apps will become native in BB10 (or that the Android backend allows for better sideloading).

I installed Ghost Commander on my playbook, and it works well with launching Flipboard: 1.9.17. But not the latest 1.9.19 version. Cheers.

Same issue. Launches fine the first time. Can set up, etc. Close the app and try to launch for a second time, and it doesn't work.

I updated flipboard to 1.20 sure its black the second time, just give it 15 seconds and it loads as normal, I confirmed this on 2 different playbooks.

I have 1.9.221 and the same thing happens. Very strange. Every version I've tried does the same thing as described above. Launches the first time and runs well. Try it a second time, and nothing... Black screen. If you delete the app and re-sideload, it works on first launch, then same thing; black screen on subsequent launches.
