Default Don't get the WSJ Reader for Android

No massive issue; it worked kind of OK. However I got bored of it and decided to delete it. Only then did I realise that it had installed at least 3 Gigs of documents and images as part of a "WSJ external cache file". I've just deleted them by use of USB and a PC and the process took about 15 minutes. With that much use of the internal real estate of my PB I can't see how it will not run more smoothly bereft of those files and the app itself.

It does store pics in the camera area at times, making things complicated. I use My File Manager or Air Browser as
A workaround. WSJ app is awesome and it's content is invaluable. Doc Neutron

I'm still a bit new but also noticed I got all those pics and such from the app when I sideloaded it...can you detail how you deleted them using your PC and usb? Would be appreciated, thanks.

OK, I'm sure pacoman03's post is helpful, but by way of etiquette, I will reply--**specifically for deleting the file created by the WSJ app**. Plug PB into PC by use of USB. Ignore the Desktop Software log on; it's not possible to delete files via the DT software. The PC will find the PB and will name it as a drive [possibly drive Z]. Open said drive, and since I've already experienced this, look for a file called [I think] "WSJ external cache file" or something very similar. Simply delete this file. I did try to achieve this on a Mac [which I use at home.] But I couldn't identify the folder which had the errant files very easily, although I can't say for sure that the folder "WSJ external cache file" didn't appear; it probably did. It ought to be possible to do this procedure on a Mac. Good luck.

No problem. My method is for getting rid of ANY cached pics regardless of the app that saved them- not necessarily for those cached by WSJ.
