most icons now load faster, the apps that tend to "Fail" are the ones whose icons don't load, wait until they load (some never do, we're fixing it)
- default pirates of the caribean bug is now fixed, you won't see it.
- added new branding art and changed the name of the app, search bar and other stuff.
- if app crashes or everything is blank, close app, wait two minutes and fire it up again.
- this version may conflict with previous installs, you might lose all of your installed apps, but hey, upgrades are worth it.

Installed it, and I hate to tell you this, but not much has changed in terms of usability. Still the same loading the content problems. Speed hasn't changed at all for me. But Sir, I.do appreciate the effort.

For some reason it works better now. Like I said, I appreciate your work man. You asked for us to try, and I did. I didn't want to lie.
It seems to work pretty good at times, and then you open the app again next time and it is having a hard time again.
I just tried again and it was pretty fast and everything worked great.
For some reason the connection seems to be inconsistent.

Just now I tried it and it seemed to time out with a blank screen below the header.

BTW, it shows that the FB app has been updated on January 19th, but it shows the older 1.9.7 version.

I really do appreciate all your work Sir, the criticism is supposed to be just constructive, not demanding.

its all good, i am juggling like a million things right now, the fact that you can't install apps right from the client makes me not want to focus a lot on it because its basically reference for updated apps and new apps, app mangement. I would ******* love to implement some sort of localbar code into it, to automatically install apps. If i could make that happen, i would polish the **** out of the app store app. Right now all my effort is in traveling to different digital book conventions, CES and other shows like that, writing and working on my HTML5 cloud storage and online reading app for the playbook. I couldn't really find anyone to help kick in money, so spending like 10k out of my pocket to give people who own playbooks and bb10 devices the best place to store your books and read them through the web-browser. The next step is to make a dedicated cloud storage and e-reading app for the playbook/bb10/ios/android, but all that stuff costs a ton of money

I think you're doing a great job and you certainly made my PlayBook experience a better one. You brought enhanced functionality to it.
I can imagine the stress. Whenever I just have to fix a thing or two on my PC, and cannot figure out for a while what is wrong with it, I wind up spending hours and hours until I got it. And when I'm done, I am actually sick of it. LOL

I heard about that localbar2 thing and that would be cool to include it in the appstore app, although I still don't quiet
understand exactly how to do it using the phone with the proxy thingy...

Koz the FB app shows version 1.9.7 and says updated on the 19th. Isn't that an real old version? I got 1.9.111 installed currently.
