Most of the apps in the E reader has no bar files at all. i've downloaded almost every apps but i couldn't find .bar files
eg :
1. u torrent
2.E bay
3.Whats app
4.google voice
4.skypebeta
5.paypal
6.craiglist
7.new york times
8. stumble upon
9. yahoo messenger
10.world News paper etc.......


after downloading and unzipping the file all I could see is just two folders named 'android' and 'META-INF'
no bar files at all

plz fix it

It is because your computer is recognizing the bar files as being associated with ZIP files. They ARE BAR files and can be transfered to your playbook

Are the gaming emulators "fun" to play? I know some are just satisfied with being able to port, but bad ports are just no fun. Look at SimCity/Sim3 RIM gifts as good examples. They lasted on my 9900 all of 5 minutes for me to realize how awful they were to play, and if I had actually shelled out the 6 bux (etc) I would have been highly upset.

Unrelated: how crazy/hard would it be to create an actual app that allowed you to "side load" directly from the device? Something you could put url's to apps and then OTA like you can with BB apps. Regardless, thanks for the hard work Koz. I know we as a community are appreciative of your hard work. Think you should email the SW dev's, let them know how you have already converted the app, and get some sort of kickback for doing all the hard work. Here's hoping we can get them included in appworld some day soon.

After rebooting and freeing up hard drive space I instead had them stall at 50%, although oddly enough they still worked. Thanks for that and my apologies.
