actually this is last year's version, that's why I specified 2012-13. The link provides the 2011-12 version which is obsolete.

Actually after I installed it anyway I realized it is in fact the correct version for 2012-13 even though the description doesn't indicate that. And it works great, thanks.

As a background, i have a full subscription to NHL GameCenter. I understand that sometimes in my area games are blacked out if the game is on cable. For some reason on my playbook, transitioning to a live streaming feed through the app doesn't work. I downloaded the egoodreader Jan 16th version twice, and nothing....any thoughts? Watching through the browser is awful; choppy and finally the browser tends to close.

Just to add, I also have Gamecenter. It does work via the browser and works very well...for a time. It seems that the memory of the Playbook is used up and not released. It thus shrinks down to below, say, 50 MB, which is when it begins locking up. If you close the browser and re-open it, Gamecenter will work again normally until the same memory problems arise.
The sideloaded NHL app works, as in it opens. Some highlights play. But I can't get any games live. It goes to the screen where it would play the game, but it never plays. This is not a blackout issue either.

sounds like Filibustered1, you and I have the same problem. I called RIM today and they suggested that I reload the software again. I am about to do that as I have noticed that my browser has become unresponsive and choppy and checkerboards a lot.

have to say, I am now using a Galaxy Tab 2 and it works beautifully. However it doesn't have a hdmi and that is why I like the playbook. However, the ported apps usually are good but I am very disappointed with them and this issue. This is making me look towards changing from blackberry to android.

I no longer can watch live games on the App, possibly because the Android version has been updated. Kozmonaut, can you update the app for us hockey-crazed Playbookers?
