    Default Android Escape/Go Back Function

I have a Blackberry App that lets me do expense entries, tied to emails and phone calls, that syncs with our billing software. It works well but there's no Playbook version. But the company just put out a version for Android phones, so I called them up to ask if it would run on tablets. They hadn't tried yet, so they gave me permission to try and get it to run on my Playbook. So I educated myself on how to convert an .APK to a .BAR and I was able to do it and load it and launch it and I have been surprised how well it has worked. But. . . . . in order for it to really function, I need to be able to use the "back" or "escape" arrow that pops up on the lower left hand corner of the Playbook under the Playbook Android Player. And it won't always function. I checked a few other Android apps and it turns out that this function is spotty across several platforms. Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas on how I might fix it? Suggestions appreciated.

Hi... Have you tried swiping horizontally across the bottom bezel? This usually works in the Android player as "back", and I have found it to be much easier than swiping down then trying to stab the little back arrow thingy.

There is a switch on that bar to toggle it between showing or hiding. If it is hidden, you should be able to swipe down from the top bezel and it will show itself. At least, with standard apps. If there's something different about what you've got, then I'm not sure.

Duh! I had tried the swipe but had forgotten that it had to be horizonal. It seems to be a good work-around. Thanks to the both of you for the prompt suggestion!
