Try going into a store? The problem is, when we assign you a new number that's another number we can't give somone else, a new customer let's say. It puts the number you had on a "cooldown" period for like 6-10 months, that's another number we can't give out. If I'm correct, and I could be wrong, each phone company is allowed certain phone numbers. So for you to take another one the increasingly limited numbers, it might cost a little. From a customers standpoint, yeah it sucks, I agree, from a business stand point, I believe most companies charge, but I could be wrong.
I've changed numbers for people and I never charge, unless you do it many times, just try going into a local store
