Verizon Tour for Alltel?

Can I hook up a Verizon Tour as an Alltel customer now?

Or do I need to wait until after October 17th to just buy a Verizon phone then?

U will need to wait. Make sure you call cs to activate. I think (my assumption only) that the store reps are getting paid based on how many alltelers they can switch to verizon plans.

Yea, A rep. tried that bait and switch on me. Didn't happen I still have my Alltel plan. I bought my son a BB first and re-upped my Alltel plan with a very competent rep, a month or so later I went in and that rep. was off. The one that called my name tried telling my I needed a Verizon plan so I said, well go ahead and pull my account up, he back tracked quick.
Also, two different employees had to help him with the transaction.

For everything their network is, their reps. are NOT.
